Grandmaster Chunyi Lin is a leading advocate of practicing Qigong for healing and awakening, a trainer for many Qigong masters, and founder and creator of Spring Forest Qigong. Since 1995, his personal study Qigong programs have positively transformed the lives of over 750,000 students, while his Qigong teacher/healer certification programs have trained more than 400 Qigong professionals.
He's been a celebrated speaker at countless major wellness and transformation conferences, with audiences as large as 4,000, both in the U.S. and in 11 other countries. Master Lin is a media favorite, with network TV interviews by KNBC, Fox 9, and KMSP. He has also been interviewed and featured in the New York Times, the Star Tribune, and Pioneer Press.
He's also a healer and wellness coach for thousands of private clients, including TV/film celebrities and professional athletes, and for multiple sports teams in the U.S. He is author of Born a Healer... Head to Toe Healing: Your Body’s Repair Manual... and Head to Heart.
In 2010, Master Lin was selected as Qigong Master of the Year by the National Qigong Association. He directs the Spring Forest Qigong Healing Center in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, overseeing more than 9,000 healing appointments annually. He has hosted a live weekly teaching program since 2010 called The Healing Connection, empowering students worldwide. He also leads multiple advanced Qigong retreats each year, all designed to help people discover their highest potential.
Gilles Marin
Gilles Marin is founder and director of the Chi Nei Tsang Institute and TaoTouch® in Northern California. Gilles has studied and practiced massage therapy since 1976. He received his degree in philosophy of education and afterward studied with Aikido Master Andre Noquet, who was then in his seventies and president of the European Aikido Federation. Master Noquet taught traditional healing methods such as kuatsu, shiatsu, and jin shin jyutsu, which he studied in Japan in the 1950s with legendary martial arts master and peace activist Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido.
In 1980, Gilles received his Black Belt in Aikido and became a student of Tai Chi Chuan under Martin Inn. During this period, he studied the principles and theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Dr. Stephen T. Chang, completing a program of study that included Chi-Kung or Vital Energy Cultivation, Classical Chinese Herb Formulas, Principles of Acupuncture, Taoist Sexology, the I-Ching or the art of consulting oracles and reading augurs, and Feng-Shui, the ancient Chinese art of geomancy. He began his professional practice and started teaching massage therapy in 1982. In the spring of 1983, Gilles stumbled upon one of Master Mantak Chia's lectures on Taoist disciplines, beginning his involvement with Master Chia's International Healing Tao System that has lasted to this day. Gilles is certified by Master Chia to teach the International Healing Tao System and Chi Nei Tsang.
Gilles holds a degree in philosophy of education. He served as the technical editor for Master Chia's 1990 book Chi Nei Tsang: Internal Organs Chi Massage. He is the author of Healing From Within With Chi Nei Tsang... and Five Elements Six Conditions: A Taoist Approach Emotional Healing, Psychology, and Internal Alchemy. He's currently releasing a new book Self, Soul, Spirit? The Tao of Consciousness: A Unified Theory of the Biology of Cognition and its Processes, with accompanying online classes.
Denise Minter
Denise Minter is a respected Qigong teacher, breast cancer survivor, and founder of Waking Up Qigong, a live-streamed online Qigong studio that helps the global community cultivate wellness. After receiving a diagnosis of aggressive breast cancer in 2000, she decided to wake up her own healing ability to thrive through difficult treatments. Her transformation was so impressive, she changed her career from academy award-winning film producer to Qigong wisdom teacher.
Denise is a certified Qigong teacher, having completed years of intensive teacher training, studying Zhineng and Wisdom Healing Qigong directly with Master Mingtong Gu. He selected Denise to manage The Chi Center’s teacher training program, including in-person and online course programs that train teachers and healers around the world, which she did from 2011 to 2015. As an assistant teacher at retreats and workshops held at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Esalen Institute, and in Israel, the U.S., and Europe, she deepened her experience supporting many types of people dealing with chronic and age-related ailments.
In 2015, Denise founded Waking Up Energy, to share and teach a global online audience how to wake up their body’s inner wisdom with live-stream daily Qigong. She received the 2022 Kickstart Your Business award, and a 2022 city of San Francisco grant for women-run small businesses to help her reach new audiences.
Denise thrives on discovering mind-body tools to address aging and chronic conditions, and she's studied practices like tapping and meditation with Master Ko Wong, Dr. Liping Zhu, and Master Ning Jian Xiong. In 2020, Denise became certified in Yoga Nidra. She has a relaxed teaching style, so waking up with joy and resilience is easy to practice.
