Zochi Young will look at the intersections between Taiji and Qigong practices as they relate to three interpersonal areas in your daily life. This session will focus on deep listening, stress and trauma reduction, and conflict resolution.

- Playful tapping exercises that release joy to enhance your ability to absorb inner teachings
- How the connections between commitment, intention, and affirmation are related to a transformative embodiment of social skills
- An experiential movement demonstration of five (5) primary movements of MU-I Taiji with verbal affirmations to actualize intentions

Zochi Young is a Taiji/Qigong teacher, poet, artivist, and author — plus founder and wellness architect of Tenesu, a holistic and trauma/healing informed instruction center located in Africa. He has been a teacher and practitioner of embodied healing arts since 1979, and to this day he continues to offer a transformative practice in service to indigenous diasporan communities that desire wellbeing. This work is focused especially on assisting African peoples in their journey of healing from social, historical, and generational trauma and stress, by helping to connect ancestors with their descendants. His fundamental goal is to establish wellbeing and consistent practice as metrics, to enhance authentic relationships and stewardship with nature, communities, and universal energies.
