The Interface Between Qigong and Non-Mainstream Therapies and Treatments
Qigong is often thrown into the category of other energetic healing modalities like acupuncture, polarity therapies, cranial-sacral therapies, etc. How can the understanding of energy as a basis for healing be a complement to Western medical views of health and therapeutics? Join Dr. Kevin Chen, Dr. Miles Reid, and Sifu Matthew Cohen for a fascinating conversation about how Qigong fits into the bigger picture of non-mainstream treatments.
In this session, you’ll discover:
- The use of intentional movement and cultivation of the "still point"
- The value of establishing an inner dialogue
- How to create resilience and homeostasis to better deal with the challenges we face
